This is a PRC EC5 Assembly Punch from Progressive RC. The EC5 is a great connector, but assembling them can be frustrating at best and dangerous at worst. This unique tool solves those problems for good.
Once the connector is soldered and ready to be popped into the housing, simply align the semi-circular lip on the end of the connector – the punch will cover over 180 of the bullet’s edge, allowing you to apply even pressure safely and easily. Then it’s just a matter of giving it a light tap with a hammer, or even pressing it in by hand!
